Warmed and Bound Podcast Interview #5: Pela Via

If you’re on my Facebook, you’re probably already annoyed with me right now. Can’t say I didn’t warn you. Fortunately, I’ve been at work most of the day, so my ability to post anything there was limited to performing actual work and the slowest computer in the world. Anyway, check this. Warmed And Bound is available at Barnes and Noble for a lot less than it’s supposed to be. I like to call this the Handcuff ‘Their Pain is Your Pleasure’ Limited Edition. This is likely to change by the end of the month so take advantage of it. Currently the book is Ranked # 4 in Bestsellers, which is great, but keep in mind the book only released today, so this is probably a slight advantage over books that have been out and fallen a little in rankings.

The Velvet member Gordon Highland created a very cool trailer for Warmed And Bound that you can see by clicking the last two links in this sentence. Kudos to Gordon for this, because it is awesome. Gordon also has a story in the anthology, which is more than enough reason to buy it now.

Pela Via. Where to start? Editor Extraordinaire. Passionate Writer. Friend. How about all of these, and of course the ‘Hot Mom’ thing Ferg said in his interview the other evening. This woman deserves the Nobel Prize for putting up with a bunch of whiney writers for these last couple of months, myself included. She took my story and made it bleed, then helped me nurse it back to health, making it gooder better than before. See what I mean? She edits so fast. And of course, her writing. Wow. You’d be doing yourself a favor to read her story “Touch” in Warmed And Bound. Livius Nedin and Robb Olson at Booked get Pela to open up about the editing process, Write Club, and of course, her hubby’s kick ass song that forms the intro and outro of her interview. Check it out here, you will not be disappointed.
