Those guys at Booked are something special. Their massive undertaking of interviewing seventeen or so authors of the neo/noir anthology Warmed And Bound is a mission of love as far as I’m concerned. Why else would they do this? Of course, Warmed And Bound is something special, so it only seems fitting to give these writers a voice to go with their stories. You can’t get this kind of special insight into the mind of a writer, especially so many authors within one collection, anywhere else.
Speaking of special, tonight’s interview (actually last nights, I’m about twenty-four hours behind on posting these here…damn work) features Amanda Gowin, a very talented young writer who will slay you with her words. I’ve read quite a few of her short stories and let me just say the Force is strong with this one. Amanda’s interview session gives us a glimpse of where she’s been, and where’s she going. (Hint: She keeps writing like she does, she’s going places…big places.) Of course, you don’t need me to tell you about her. Click here to listen to her tell her side of it, you will not be disappointed.
Check back tomorrow for another interview with one of the authors of Warmed And Bound.
